LAS VEGAS, NV — Jan. 20–23, 2026 — Ehmke Manufacturing Company’s High Ground Gear team, in collaboration with Phokus Research Group, will showcase co-branded medical load-carrying systems at SHOT Show 2026, exhibiting in Booth #20536.
The partnership combines Ehmke’s nearly century-long expertise in textile manufacturing with Phokus’ medical systems design, configuration, and integration capabilities. Together, the companies deliver scalable, mission-ready medical platforms built for military, law enforcement, and protective professionals. Featured products will be visible across both companies’ SHOT Show booths.
USMC Corpsman Assault Platform (CAP) The USMC Corpsman Assault Platform (CAP) is a collaboration between Phokus Research Group and High Ground Gear, designed to meet the USMC requirement—a modular medical load-carrying solution designed to support USMC Corpsmen across a wide range of operational environments.
The system consists of four primary components: a medical assault pack, medical sustainment bag, medical thigh rig, and modular medical pouch—allowing configurations to be tailored to casualty expectations and mission duration.
Reconfigurable internal organizers include multiple pouch sizes, reversible pouches, elastic panels, and pocket panels, enhancing accessibility, organization, and efficiency during medical operations.
The CAP platform is available exclusively from Phokus Research Group in three configurations:

The Lightweight Aid Bag (LAB) is a compact, MOLLE-compatible medical bag configured to TCCC Tier 3 standards for combat medics and corpsmen requiring advanced trauma intervention capability in a streamlined form factor.
Designed to balance capacity and mobility, the LAB provides organized carriage for critical medical supplies while maintaining a low-profile footprint suited for mounted, dismounted, and urban operations.
