Ehmke Manufacturing Company is responsible for the fabrication of the textile component used on the M240 machine gun 50 round ammo pouch. The U.S. Army uses this machine gun as one of it’s stalwart weapons. In addition, Ehmke Manufacturing Company assists the Prime Contractor in the engineering design, development and manufacture of an assortment of weapon cases, magazine pouches and gun covers.
Picatinny Arsenal is the site of the Armament Research, Development and Engineering Center (ARDEC). ARDEC falls under the major command of the Army Material Command (AMC) and the Tank Automotive and Armaments Command (TACOM). ARDEC’s mission is to conduct and manage research, development and engineering for all assigned weapon systems. Many of the products designed and procured by Picatinny Arsenal have become the standard equipment used by the U.S. Army.
