Our Mission: The Values That Drive Everything We Do
At Ehmke Manufacturing Company, our mission centers on three commitments: delivering the highest quality products and services, continuously improving our manufacturing methods, and staying dedicated to our customers, suppliers, employees, and country. These aren’t aspirations we work toward. They’re the standards we hold ourselves to every day.
A mission statement is only as meaningful as the people who live it. At Ehmke Manufacturing Company, ours isn’t something that hangs on a wall and gets forgotten. It shapes how we approach our work, how we treat the people we work with, and how we measure our own success.
We believe manufacturing excellence requires constant attention, honest relationships, and a team that takes pride in what they build. Here’s what our mission means in practice.
What our mission statement says
Our mission statement puts it plainly: “The employees and management of Ehmke Manufacturing Company, Inc. are committed to providing only the highest quality products and services to our customers.” We go on to describe how our team is “continuously developing and improving manufacturing methods to ensure the highest possible level of value, quality and products to meet our clients’ needs.” And we close with the broader commitment that defines our culture: “Ehmke Manufacturing Company is dedicated to our customers, suppliers, employees and our country.”
Three themes run through all of it: quality, improvement, and dedication. Each one means something specific to us.
Why quality comes first
Quality is the first word in our mission statement, and that’s no accident. Our commitment to ISO-9001 and AS9100D certifications reflects our dedication to maintaining the highest standards across all operations. In manufacturing, quality determines whether a product performs under real-world conditions, holds up over time, and earns a customer’s trust for the long term. For us, quality isn’t the responsibility of one team or one inspection point at the end of a production run. It’s a shared commitment that every employee and every manager carries throughout the entire process.
We’ve seen what happens when manufacturers treat quality as a checkbox. We don’t operate that way. When you work with Ehmke, quality is woven into every stage of what we do.
How we approach continuous improvement
We don’t believe quality is something you reach and then stop working at. Our mission calls for the continuous development and improvement of our manufacturing methods, and we take that seriously. Our commitment to the LEAN Manufacturing process is directly linked to our dedication to continuous improvement, allowing us to streamline operations and deliver maximum value. The processes we use today are better than the ones we used five years ago, and we intend to keep it that way.
For our clients, that means working with a partner who actively refines how things get done. We adapt to new challenges, new materials, and evolving requirements rather than relying on methods that may no longer be the best fit for the work at hand.
Who we’re dedicated to
Our mission statement names four groups: customers, suppliers, employees, and country. That last part matters to us.
Many companies stop at the customer relationship in their mission statement. We go further because we know our work depends on the people and partners surrounding us. Our suppliers make our work possible. Our employees are the reason our standards stay high. And our commitment to country reflects a broader responsibility we feel as a manufacturer operating in this industry.
We’re proud of that commitment. It’s not something we added to the statement for appearance. It reflects who we are.
What this means for you
If you’re looking for a manufacturing partner, our mission statement tells you what to expect from us. You can expect quality that’s built in, not bolted on. You can expect a team that’s always looking for a better way to serve your needs. And you can expect a company that takes its relationships seriously, whether you’re a long-time customer, a new supplier, or someone considering working with us for the first time.
That’s what we’re here to do.
