Description

Military industrial textile products manufacturer seeking Industrial engineer.  Responsibilities to include set-up reduction, plant lay-out, production efficiencies, etc.  Candidate must have experience with Lean Manufacturing techniques and Kaizen experience. 

Full time position offering salary, benefits, and performance

Major Responsibilities:

1.        Support the organization by leading Kaizen events throughout all areas

2.        Develop accurate job-costing practices 

3.        Lead cost cutting initiatives throughout the production area

4.        Lead all 5S activities throughout the organization 

 

Qualifications:

1.      Lean Manufacturing - Formal training and hands on experience

2.     Strong interpersonal skills

3.     Complete knowledge of computers and office programs (ie.word, excel)

4.     This is a “hands-on” position; the candidate will be expected to lead our organization through the lean manufacturing journey.

  

Salary                                    USD 60,000 – 70,000 Per Year

 Manufacturing Financial Analyst

A well-established (82 years old), Military industrial textile products manufacturer located in NE. Philadelphia has an immediate opening for a Manufacturing Financial Analyst.  The position is responsible for all aspects of manufacturing job costing, help Operations Department with evaluating production system & methodology by identifying, researching, analyzing, and escalating problems, helps implements manufacturing improvements, provides production flow project costs information by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing data and trends, evaluates & identifies profitability opportunities on the production floor, interfaces with Finance Department with payroll and direct labor costs. Major Responsibilities:

  • Become an integral member of the company’s management team to help meet the company’s performance metrics.
  • Create and implement a robust job costing methodology.
  • Provide detailed status reports, trend analysis & evaluations of product profitability to Leadership team.
  • Work closely with Industrial Engineer & Operations to optimize production process & flow.
  • Evaluate & measure production performance and prepare summaries for management review.
  • Assist in Operations Payroll reporting & analysis.
  • Perform special projects as requested by management.

Qualifications:

  • 5+ years of Financial Analysis or related professional experience.
  • College Degree preferred or 10 years of relevant manufacturing process experience.
  • Accounting experience is a plus.
  • Working knowledge of MAS 200 software or equivalent.
  • Proven record of cost savings / cost containment initiatives.
  • Basic knowledge of textile products is a plus.
  • Basic knowledge of LEAN Manufacturing required.
  • Detailed oriented, well organized and has the ability to work independently.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

  Position: Senior Commercial Sewing Machine Operator

Description: Perform single needle, double needle and tacking sewing operations in constructing heavy-duty, commercial & military tactical gear, tarpaulins, covers, soft-sided cases and web assemblies.

Qualifications: Minimum of 5 years proven work experience in commercial sewing machine operation.  Trade school or high school diploma, strong work ethic, US citizenship.

Wage: $8-$10/hr starting wage based on skill & experience.  Opportunity to earn Team Incentive up to an additional 50% of starting wage.
